Rapping a Decade [Written on 10yrs completion by FIL in India]

Welcome u all, we’ve gotta story to tell,
‘bout last ten yrs we spent in FIL.
Now hang in there, this maybe long,
U better pay attention, coz u gotta sing along.

it’s what we sowed in order to achieve.
Talent, Experience, Teamwork & Passion,
Happiness & Values; spread in different fashion.

Before we go ahead, lets rewind this back,
10 yrs ago with 20 ppl in tech.
Rattan was the man, who led the show,
& from then on, FIL started to grow.

In the next two yrs, FMR joined the club,
set Gurgaon-Bangalore as operations hub.
March ‘two thousand three’, created history,
Cus-tomerrr Ser-vices set a family tree.

Our sister came along, in 2004,
Telecom Company, her name is ‘COLT’.
In 2005, the year was a key,
1st Fid Fund launched, by AMC.

For a better future & double ur money,
Matching Grant came in handy for all of Thee.
The same yr India gave ISA a boost,
With Chennai joining forces, our problems got the boot.

And just when we thought, our numbers stood still,
In 2006, came Ins-ti-tu-tio-nal !!
Despite the recession, we bailed out in time,
We were more than 1000, in 2009 !!!

With Tiger’s launch, we entered the dragon,
Tunisia later, joined the band-wagon.
We surfed through the bull & sailed through the bear,
We held the fort without any fear.

Discovering new oceans, we wanted to explore,
we’ve got the courage, to leave sight of the shore.
We took the lead, never follow the trend,
its just the beginning and not the end.
